I encouraged you to get God’s truth deep down on the inside of you. It truly is a matter of life or death. Here’s something that really helped make a differnce in my faith walk:
When I read something in the Bible (whether it’s a promise, a praise, or whatever it is that’s encouraging me), I write it down on a separate piece of paper. Then, I’ll go to my computer, open a Word file, and type out that particular scripture. I then experiment with different fonts and colors – to try and make it look “nice.” Then I print it, and cut it out. I laminate it (scotch tape does the trick), and then tape it to something I see everyday or somewhere I visit everyday. What works for me, is putting scripture on my kitchen cabinets, on mirrors, on shelves, in the bathroom…wherever I can see it everyday.
Romans 10:17 says it best, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
